Starting on 1st of January 2027, Lithuania will introduce a nationalwide electronic road tolling system (e-toll). The project is being implemented by Via Lietuva in cooperation with Austrian technology provider Kapsch TrafficCom, which was selected through an international open tender.

Currently, a first draft of the Domain Statement for European Electronic Toll Service (EETS) providers has been released. Stakeholders and market participants are invited to review the document and submit feedback.

The public consultation is open until 1st of May 2026, offering the opportunity to contribute comments and suggestions before the final version is prepared.
